Objective
To hire a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems for ITCart’s AI-powered multi-tenant SaaS platforms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong proficiency in Node.js/Python, deep expertise in SQL/NoSQL databases, and hands-on experience with API architecture, DevOps practices, and cloud-native technologies. This role demands a strategic thinker and problem-solver who thrives in agile environments, collaborates effectively across teams, and is passionate about building backend infrastructure that powers intelligent enterprise ecosystems.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain modular backend services and RESTful/GraphQL APIs
Optimize databases (PostgreSQL/MongoDB) and caching layers (Redis)
Implement secure authentication and access control (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC)
Collaborate with DevOps, frontend, and product teams to build scalable features
Maintain CI/CD pipelines, write unit/integration tests, and document APIs
Contribute to architectural decisions and system design
Requirements
5–8 years in backend development for cloud-based platforms.
Programming Languages:
Strong proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Go.
Database Management:
Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
Familiarity with ORM frameworks.
Proficient in data modeling, indexing, and query performance optimization.
API Development:
Experience in building RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation standards.
Caching & Queues:
Experience with Redis for caching.
Use of background job queues like Celery or RabbitMQ.
Security & Access Control:
Strong understanding of OAuth2, JWT, and RBAC.
Knowledge of SSO (Google/Microsoft).
Secure coding and session management practices.
DevOps & CI/CD:
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes basics.
Version Control & Testing:
Experience with Git workflows.
Writing and maintaining unit, integration, and performance tests
